Junction Creek in February
In the midst of freezing temperatures and endless snow I have found myself painting impressions of snow, water, ice, and rocks. The above painting was juried into the Durango Arts Center's Four Corners Commission Show in January. My inspiration came from a favorite walk near Durango, Colorado.

Botanical Illustration of Orchid in Pen and Ink
An example of an earlier work used in a lecture on the history of Botanical Illustration for the Colorado Native Plant Society at the Center of Southwest Studies at Fort Lewis College in Durango, Colorado. This lecture was given on January 26 with FLC art professor, Amy Wendland, who focused on materials used.
